SPENCER – “The World’s Greatest County Fair” – the Clay County Fair – is now underway, and for the next two nights, dirt track racing has taken over the grandstand entertainment.
Tonight, IMCA Stock Cars, Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Cars, and Tri-State Late Models will duke it out for six-foot-tall trophies and lots of cash in the annual “Battle of the Blue Ribbon” at the Clay County Fair Speedway. If the racing is anything like what has been seen so far this season in Spencer, it will be an event you don’t want to miss.

Full show for all three divisions taking the track. Pits open at 2 p.m., grandstand opens at 6. Hot laps begin at 7 p.m. with racing to follow at approximately 7:30.
