BOONE – By the time the final checker flag waves on Night 3 of the 39th Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals presented by Casey’s, we will know who will be starting on the pole of the final two “big dance” features on Saturday night, as well as the full field for the northern sportmod and hobby stock championship races.
These numbers are likely to grow, but as of this report, more than 140 modified racers will be duking it out tonight for a spot in the first eight rows of the inside line of cars in Saturday’s main event. Another 120-plus stock car racers will also vie for one of eight inside-line positions for Saturday night, as well.
In the northern sportmods and hobby stocks divisions, 24 and 25 racers, respectively, are set for one last chance to take one of the final six spots in the three-wide, 30-car championship feature on Saturday night. Additionally, qualifying races are also planned for the inaugural B&B Chassis Stock Car All-Star Invitational race.
For those who haven’t been to a Wednesday show at Super Nationals before, that all makes for a very long night … well into the early morning. Here are the details:

Preliminary qualifying for modifieds and stock cars, last-chance qualifying for northern sportmods and hobby stocks, all-star qualifying for stock cars. Pits open at 9 a.m. Hot laps begin at 1 p.m. with racing to follow at approximately 2. Divisions racing: IMCA modifieds, stock cars, northern sportmods, and hobby stocks.
