BOONE – After tonight, the nearly 1,000 entries in the 39th Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s will have been whittled down to just a few dozen racers vying for the chance to stand on the championship stage.
It’s go-or-go-home time for most of the remaining competitors in the modified and stock car divisions. The first eight spots in the inside and middle lines have already been set, and the racing tonight will determine the final eight in the outside lines. All that will be left are the final six spots in each race, to be determined by last-chance qualifiers on Saturday.
The Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational for the modified division is also slated for tonight at Boone Speedway. Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, SD, is also starting a three-night event with the USAC midgets and sprint cars tonight – the inaugural Huset’s USAC Nationals. Here are the details for both events:

Final preliminary qualifying for modifieds and stock cars, all-star race for stock cars. Pits open at 9 a.m. Hot laps begin at 1 p.m. with racing to follow at approximately 2. Huset’s Speedway – Huset’s USAC Nationals
