BOONE – Qualifying for Saturday’s main events in the Modified and Stock Car divisions continues tonight at the 39th Speedway Motors IMCA Super Nationals fueled by Casey’s at Boone Speedway.

Nearly 450 cars attempted to qualify on the opening night Wednesday between the two divisions, and only 16 – eight from each division – punched their tickets to their respective “big dance” events. Eight more spots are up for grabs tonight in each division, as well as race of champions qualifying in both divisions.

Preliminary qualifying for modifieds and stock cars, race of champions qualifying for modifieds and stock cars. Pits open at 9 a.m. Hot laps begin at 1 p.m. with racing to follow at approximately 2.
